THE MISCONCEPTION

There is a widely held belief that animal derived clothing comes from small farms with happy frolicking animals.

That is simply not the case.

The global fashion industry’s impact on workers, the environment and billions of animals around the globe is devastating to say the least.

This is an industry that is about one thing and one thing only. And that is maximizing profits, minimizing costs — Joshua Katcher, Author/Fashion Entrepreneur

PETA undercover investigation

UNDERCOVER INVESTIGATIONS

PETA entrusted us with years worth of raw undercover footage.

We could have made multiple feature-length documentaries with the shear amount of shocking yet consistently horrific footage there was to sort through. Many of the images would not even be allowed to be shown on most news outlets.

When PETA sent me that undercover investigation, you can’t imagine it until you see the level of abuse — Joaquin Pheonix

The footage reveals widespread cruelty of animals across the industry including suppliers for Urban Outfitters’ brands.

PROTESTS

This film follows the international campaign against Urban Outfitters in an all out effort to get them to stop selling any animal derived materials.

Essentially, PETA is making an example of Urban Outfitters. The larger goal seems to be that if they can force Urban Outfitters brands to stop selling all animal materials that it will send a message across the industry.

During filming this documentary we get right in the center of the action to bring you the story!
